# The Railway Bridge, Novi Sad, 1899

A vessel passes beneath the fixed span with the town's rooftops and several towers visible on the far bank, and a handwritten German letter fills the right side, signed Szödényi. The heading confirms this as the Bahnbrücke, the railway bridge, distinct from the pontoon road crossing seen elsewhere in the river views, and dates it to April 1899, earlier than any of those pontoon-bridge cards. The publisher's imprint at left reads Pick Testvérek, Bécs, Vienna.
