# Rákóczi Ferenc Street Toward the Cathedral, Novi Sad, 1941

A well dressed couple walks along a shop lined street toward the camera, with two girls in matching dresses further back near a doorway. A tram runs down the cobblestone street, which leads toward the spire of the Church of the Name of Mary in the distance. A hairdresser's shop sign reading Klemm and Fodrasz hangs overhead. The source names the street as Rakoczi Ferenc utca, since replaced by Pozorisni trg (Theatre Square), and dates the photograph to 1941.
