# Furrier Street, women in folk dress

A long row of low two storey houses with shuttered windows and deep shopfronts runs down a wide unpaved street. Three women in white folk dress and headscarves stand at the left, five boys pose in the middle of the road, a man in a bowler hat stands at the kerb, and further off a horse cab and a crowd. Goods hang outside the shop doors and the fascias are lettered in Cyrillic and Latin together.
