# Ten-para war invalids stamp, Kingdom SHS, 1921

The 10 para of the charity set for the war invalids issued on 30 January 1921, with ЗА ИНВАЛИДЕ and ZA INVALIDE, for the invalids, beside a surcharge of 10 para more for their fund. The picture is the Kosovo Maiden tending the wounded hero Pavle Orlović on the field of Kosovo in 1389, the scene of the Serbian epic song. AMERICAN BANK NOTE CO. runs under the frame: the set was printed in New York.
