# Petrovaradin Fortress and the Pontoon Bridge

The fortress is named three times over, in German, Serbian and Hungarian, so the card was issued for all three readerships and before 1918. The pontoon bridge is closed and carrying the crossing to Petrovaradin, with heavy wooden barges drawn up on the shingle below the fortress.
