# Petrovaradin fortress above the Danube bathers

Colorized artwork shows the Petrovaradin fortress walls and a small tower crowning the wooded hillside above the Danube, where a few figures wade in the shallows near the bank. The caption gives only the Serbo-Croatian name Grad Petrovaradin, without the German or Hungarian forms seen on most cards of this fortress.
