# Hundred-dinar state note overprinted 400 kruna, 1919

The hundred-dinar state note of 1919, one of the large values the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes had printed in Paris. Cherubs with fruit and sheaves sit in the lower corners, two roundels warn in Serbian and French that forging notes is punished, and the value reads СТО ДИНАРА and STO DINARA. Across the foot a red overprint, КРУНА 400 KRUNA and KRON., restates the note in krone, four to the dinar, for a country still counting in the old money.
