# Rex Palace and its square, Novi Sad

A busy square is dominated by the long curved facade of the Rex Palace, a multi-story modern building with a rooftop sign and ground-floor shops including a fashion department store. An ornate column on a stepped pedestal stands at the center of the square, with tram rails curving past it and crowds of pedestrians in overcoats crossing in every direction. Awnings and shop signs line the older building to the right of the Rex Palace.
