# The Wrecked Tomislav Bridge, Novi Sad, 1941

The collapsed steel span of a road bridge lies twisted in the Danube, its girders rising at an angle from the water. Petrovaradin Fortress stands on the far bank behind it, with a church tower visible at the foot of the hill. The source dates the photograph to 1941 and names the bridge as the Most kraljevica Tomislava, the King Tomislav Bridge.
