# Aircraft Wreckage in the Bombed Hangar

A small snapshot with a deckled edge, looking down the length of a steel framed hangar whose roof has been torn open, daylight coming through the gaps in the trusses and the glazed clerestory above. On the concrete floor lies the burnt skeleton of an aircraft: a wing stripped back to its ribs and spars, an engine cowling at the left carrying a large white numeral, a tailplane still holding its light painted panel at the right, and a long run of twisted framing beyond it. Rubble and torn sheeting are scattered across the floor in front. The far wall of the hangar stands with its window openings blown out.
