# Rex Hotel Corner, Cyclists by the Belgrade Road Sign, 1941

A policeman stands in a traffic-control post at the centre of the intersection directing cyclists and pedestrians, with a road sign nearby pointing toward Belgrade, and the Hotel Rex is seen from its street-level corner rather than toward the church. The heading reads Ujvidék, Rex szálloda. The card's September 1941 date falls five months after the city's occupation that April.
