# Silver forint of the Kingdom of Hungary, 1881

A Hungarian silver forint of 1881, with the laureate head of Franz Joseph and his titles in Hungarian, “FERENCZ JÓZSEF I · K · A · CS · ÉS M · H · S · D · O · AP · KIR”, emperor of Austria and apostolic king of Hungary, Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia. The reverse bears the crowned arms of Hungary between “1 Frt” and the legend “MAGYAR KIRÁLYSÁG”, Kingdom of Hungary, and the mint mark K.B. of Kremnitz sits under the portrait. After 1867 Hungary struck its own coins with Hungarian legends, and this was the forint of Neusatz.
