# Liberation Square and the Town Hall, seen from above

The Town Hall's tall clock tower rises over Trg Oslobodjenja, where a tram runs along the far side of the square and an ox cart crosses in the foreground. Awninged shops line the street to the left. The Cyrillic and Latin caption naming the square Liberation Square places this firmly in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, after the square's Habsburg era name was dropped.
