# Main Square, the Town Hall and a policeman on duty

A policeman stands in the foreground of the city's main square, arm raised, with the city hall and its clock tower behind him and the votive column rising to its right. Overhead tram wires cross above the column, and pedestrians and horse-drawn carts move through the square under a cloudy sky. The caption reads only Ujvidék, Fő-tér, the generic Main Square name this publisher used elsewhere for the same Ferenc József tér views.
