# Two trams outside the Archduke Joseph barracks

A hand tinted card of a long two storey barrack range seen along its front. Two four wheel electric tram cars stand on the track in the open ground before it, one nearer the camera with its trolley pole raised to the overhead wire, the other beyond, each with a clerestory roof, an open platform at either end and a destination board above the windscreen. Lattice traction masts carry the span wires across the space. Small figures stand between the cars and at the barrack wall, and to the right a horse stands in the shafts of a long cart drawn up beside the building. The barracks themselves run away to the right in a regular range of round headed windows, with a projecting centre carrying a panel and a small balcony. Young trees in a line stand in front of it. The foreground is bare open ground and the sky is washed in pale blue and cream.
