# Cover of the 1895 history of Neusatz, with the city arms

The paper cover of Geschichte der Stadt Neusatz by Melchior Érdujhelyi, translated from the Hungarian by Heinrich Gunde and Friedrich Steiger and published in 1895 by the Royal Free City of Neusatz, printed in the town by Emil Fuchs & Comp. A small vignette of the city's arms sits above the imprint. The book gives the blazon from the charter of 1 February 1748: three round silver towers on the bank of the Danube, the middle one somewhat taller, with Noah's dove above it. The handwritten 4° Austr. 229 b at the top is the shelf mark of this copy in the Bavarian State Library.
