# Ten-gulden note of the National Bank, Vienna, 1863

Ten gulden of the privileged Austrian National Bank, dated Vienna, 15 January 1863, number 802615, designed in part by Joseph von Führich. Three working figures fill the lower half, a young herdsman with his crook, a bearded miner with his pick and the crossed hammers on his cap, and a reaper with a sickle over his shoulder. The text now promises ten gulden in silver coin of the Austrian standard, the currency of 100 kreuzer to the gulden that replaced the convention standard in 1858.
