# The Rear Facade of the Banovina Palace, Novi Sad, 1941

The viewer looks across an unpaved lot toward the rear of a large modernist government building, its facade lined with fluted pilasters and topped by a rounded corner tower. A long wing of the same complex extends to the left. Several vehicles are parked near the entrance, one of them resembling a military armored car, with a handful of people standing by. The donor identifies the building as the Banovina Palace, seen from Zarka Zrenjanina street.
