# The River Baths, Novi Sad, 1941

Four views of the river baths: the entrance gate with bathers queuing beneath the trees, a domed bandstand pavilion, a crowd wading at the water's edge, and bathers piled on the steps of a slide platform. The captions read simply Ujvidek and Strandfurdo. Dated 21 August 1941, an ordinary summer's day at the baths four months into the Hungarian occupation.
