# Rooftops toward the synagogue

A high view out over the tiled roofs, blank party walls, chimneys and rear yards of the old town, taken from a tower. A street runs away to the right between shopfronts with balconies. In the middle distance the ribbed dome and flanking towers of the synagogue stand above the roofline, and beyond that the town thins into haze with a low ridge across the horizon. A flat roofed modern block stands among the pitched roofs at the left of centre.
