# Tram Tracks Curving Past the Marija Trandafil Orphanage Gate

A domed corner tower with a statue in a niche rises over tram tracks curving past the orphanage gate, a small crowd gathered at the entrance. The heading names the city twice, Ujvidék and Нови Сад side by side, and the Hungarian and Cyrillic lines both credit the institution to Marija Trandafil, for Serbian Orthodox orphans.
