# Franz Joseph Square and the Savings Bank

Every piece of lettering on the card is Hungarian, the bank's name cut across the entablature, the shop sign next door, the printed caption and the publisher's imprint running down the edge in red, so Hungarian carried the square's commerce as well as its administration. A hand has added a date in ink between the two caption lines. Two large photographic cut-outs have been pasted into the view, a couple in wide hats and a child in a sailor suit under an enormous hat, in the montage manner of the greeting cards of the period.
