# The Military Staff Building, Petrovaradin

A handwritten message in ink runs right across the picture and out into the margins. The same printed card survives clean and unused, where the staff building shows plainly below the fortress ramparts. The caption is German alone, with no Serbian or Hungarian, which suits a card of a military staff building issued under the monarchy, and the publisher was Ign. Andres of Peterwardein, a local house.
