# Kossuth Lajos Street from the Town Hall tower

An elevated view from the Town Hall tower, looking along Kossuth Lajos utca, today Zmaj Jovina, with Franz Joseph Square in the foreground. The Holy Trinity Column stands on the square below, seen from almost directly above: the octagonal stepped base with its garland swags and corner statues, then the shaft running away from the camera to the cross at its apex. Awnings are out along both sides of the street, the corner building at the left is lettered RECÉNYI ISTVÁN and SCHATTELES NÁNDOR with a clock hung at the corner, and WAGNER TESTVÉREK is painted across a roof at the right. Beyond the rooftops lie the flood plain and the Danube.
