# On the Wrecked Tomislav Bridge, Looking Toward Petrovaradin, 1942

Twisted girders and two T topped overhead line masts rise from the broken deck of a road bridge, photographed from among the wreckage itself. Across the Danube, the houses and a church spire of Petrovaradin are visible along the bank. The source dates the photograph to 1942 and identifies the ruin as the Most kraljevica Tomislava, the King Tomislav Bridge.
