# Two-korona silver coin of the Kingdom of Hungary, 1912

A two-korona piece of 1912 in silver, struck at Kremnitz with the mint mark K.B. under the laureate head of the aged Franz Joseph. The reverse repeats the design of the five-korona coin at a smaller size, two angels bearing the Holy Crown above “2 KORONA 1912”, with ears of wheat in the wreath below. Two years later the war began, and coins like this one soon disappeared into savings as silver grew scarce.
