# The Jewish Street, Awnings and a Pushcart Toward the Church Spire

Jevrejska ulica (Jewish Street), named only in Serbian on this card, though the street carried the Hungarian name Rakoczi Ferenc utca in the previous era. Shops with striped awnings line the left side, tram tracks run down the cobbles toward a distant church spire, and a crowd of pedestrians and a pushcart fill the roadway. Two Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes stamps at the lower corners are postmarked Novi Sad, 15 November 1929.
