# The number 4 bus to Liman

A city bus stands at the kerb with its destination box reading 4 LIMAN, the route to the Liman district on the drained ground south of the old town. A man in a light jacket leans out of the open centre doorway, a man in a dark suit and broad tie walks past the front of the vehicle, and a young woman carrying a folded coat crosses the foreground. Behind them the white marble tower of the new main post office, built to Dragiša Brašovan's design between 1958 and 1962, rises over the older shopfronts. The bus has the flat two piece windscreen and roof mounted destination box of the TAM city buses supplied to Yugoslav operators from the late 1960s, and is very likely a TAM AS 3500 CM.
