# Punts on the park lake, with the town in the distance

Flat-bottomed punts are being poled across a wide backwater, passengers sitting amidships, and a horse is worked on the bank. The publisher's imprint gives J. Singer his court photographer's title in German, which places the card in the Austro-Hungarian years and shows it was made by a photographer working in the town.
