# Gathering in Liberty Square, Novi Sad, 1942

A group of men in military overcoats and plain civilian coats stand talking on a rain-soaked street, a tram halted behind them and a no-parking sign at the curb. Across the square rise the twin spires and rose window of the Church of the Holy Name of Mary. The donor's caption places the scene on Kralja Aleksandra street facing Trg Slobode, the square once called Ferenc Jozsef ter and later Orszagzaszlo ter.
