# The Habag Palace, Pedestrians Along the Pavement, 1941

The building is in a plain, modernist style very different from the ornate nineteenth-century architecture pictured elsewhere, with a vertical sign reading Agraria partway up the corner tower. Shopfronts with large display windows run along the ground floor, and a scattered line of pedestrians walks the pavement past them. The card's July 1941 date falls three months after the city's occupation that April.
