# A Paddle Steamer Moored Below Petrovaradin Fortress, 1965

A paddle steamer with twin funnels is moored on the Danube at Novi Sad, with Petrovaradin Fortress rising on the far bank behind it and its clock tower visible at the left. Large lettering on the fortress escarpment reads STERIJI and, further along, ZORJE, part of the name of the Sterijino pozorje theatre festival held in the city. Two people walk along the near bank in the foreground. The source identifies the moored vessel as the steamer Felszabadulas.
