# The Danube Banovina Administration Palace, Novi Sad, with a biplane overhead

A long modernist palace with a tall stepped tower serves as the seat of the Danube Banovina administration, its facade stretching along a broad avenue lined with young trees. A small biplane is visible high in the sky at the upper right, and pedestrians cross the street in front of a corner building with shopfronts. The Danube Banovina existed only from 1929 to 1941, fixing this firmly within the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
