A walled institutional building with a small twin-domed chapel at its centre sits behind trees along the riverbank, with a pontoon crossing of moored barges at the water's edge to the right, the same kind of temporary river crossing seen in other pre-1905 views. The heading reads Ujvidéki látkép, Panorama Ujvidék, with the publisher's imprint, Verlag J. Singer, Hoffotograf, Ujvidék, at bottom right.
