# The Bishop's Palace, With His Portrait Inset

The town is named three times over and the building three times, in Hungarian, Serbian Cyrillic and German, which is the full trilingual form and places the card before 1918. The Hungarian is misset, palato for palota, and the Serbian is printed in the older orthography with a hard sign closing the second word. The bishop in the oval inset wears the black klobuk with its veil and an embroidered vestment with a pectoral cross and panagia, but the card does not name him. The baroque bell tower of the Cathedral Church with its clock stands beside the palace, and fiacres and a covered wagon are drawn up on the unmetalled roadway.
