# Morning Light on Kamenica, Across the Danube, 1977

Golden morning light bathes a small riverside town, its red-tiled roofs gathered around two baroque church towers, one with a clock face in its spire. A small boat is moored at the grassy foreshore, reflections rippling across the Danube. The donor identifies this as Kamenica, a district on the river's far bank, with a Serbian Orthodox church facing the water.
