The viewer stands close beside the wrecked bridge's near span, its ornamental lamp pylons and a maintenance catwalk still intact overhead. Further sections lie collapsed and twisted down into the river. Across the water, the donor's caption places Petrovaradin, its church spire and riverside houses visible on the far bank.
