# The Giant Elevator (Orias-elevator) dredging the Danube near Petrovaradin

A large crane mounted dredger, its boom lifting a bucket high above deckhands and ladders, works the Danube beside the railway bridge near Petrovaradin. Two men stand on the riverbank in the foreground. The Hungarian-only Ujvidek and Petrovaradin caption, with no Cyrillic, is consistent with the Austro-Hungarian era, and the photographer's credit names Antal Fleischmann.
