# Petrovaradin Fortress and the New Bridge

Petrovaradin Fortress and its new bridge over the Danube, a steel truss span reaching from the near bank to the fortress's barracks and church spire on the ridge above. Captioned twice, in Cyrillic and Latin, 'Grad Petrovaradin sa novim mostom' (Petrovaradin Fortress with the new bridge). The card is dated within two weeks of Hungary's April 1941 occupation of Backa.
