# The Main Street, Novi Sad, with Market Stalls

A hand-tinted postcard of Ujvidek's tree-lined main street, looking toward the Cathedral's spire in the distance. A stone cross monument stands in a small square partway down the street, ringed by market stalls and parked horse carts, and a horse cab drives along the street at the lower left. The triple caption at the foot of the card gives the city's name in Hungarian, Serbian Cyrillic and German, and the card was published by Milan Ivković of Ujvidek. A sender has written a note across the lower margin of the front rather than the back.
