# The Marija Trandafil Endowment, Its Arcade Let to a Printing House and Konkordija

A real photo card of the two-storey endowment block, with the founder's name printed along the bottom margin in Cyrillic and Latin together. The corner is turned by a polygonal oriel under a domed cap and a balustraded gable, and the whole ground floor is opened up as an arcade of round-arched bays let out to shops: Konkordija takes the corner and a printing house has the sign over a bay down the long side. Painted lettering runs along the wall beneath the eaves, and a few children stand about under the arches.
