# The Austro-Hungarian Bank, Novi Sad

A dog stands in the middle of the cobbled street, with a horse cart and several men in hats gathered outside the bank, its domed corner tower at right beside a sign partly reading Takarékpénztár, savings bank. The same twin towers seen elsewhere on this street recur in the distance. The heading, Kossúth Lajos-utca, Osztr. magy. bank, names the building as the Austro-Hungarian Bank on Kossuth Lajos utca.
