# The Broken Deck of the Tomislav Bridge, Novi Sad, 1942

The deck of a road bridge is buckled and torn apart, its ornate diamond patterned railings still attached to one twisted section that juts skyward. High water covers the far bank beneath a line of trees. The source dates the photograph to 1942 and identifies the wreckage as the Most kraljevica Tomislava, the King Tomislav Bridge.
