# A Five-View Postcard of Novi Sad, Petrovaradin and Kamenica

A multiview card, its five vignettes framed by poppies and reeds: the parish church, the Hôtel Central, Franz Joseph Square with the Holy Trinity column, the cadet school at Kamenica, and the fortress at Petrovaradin. Every vignette is captioned twice, Hungarian and German, the pairing of a town that read both. The margins name the Dresden printer Edgar Schmidt and the local bookseller Ágoston Herger. The sender, Ilonka, filled the right half with a Hungarian message to a friend in Szeged and dated it by hand at Ujvidék in August 1898.
