# Hungarian side of the twenty-kronen note, 1913

The Hungarian side of the 1913 twenty-kronen note, “HÚSZ KORONA”, with the crowned arms of Hungary at the upper left, a large 20 in a lacework rosette at the centre and a second woman's portrait at the right. The bank's promise stands in Hungarian, dated “Bécs 1913 január 2-án”, above the printed signatures, and a panel under the portrait warns that forging the notes is punished by law.
