# Tramcar 52 before the Dunđerski Palace

A four wheel electric tramcar stands on the rails in the roadway, its number 52 painted large on the dash and again on the side panel, a coiled rope hung beneath the headlamp and the bow collector reaching up to the wire. Behind it rises a richly modelled facade: a heavy balcony carried on massive consoles, arched openings along the ground floor and ornament worked across the upper storeys. Two women in long dark coats and headscarves walk the pavement beside it, a poster column and a cast iron lamp standard stand at the left, and the rails curve away across the cobbles in the foreground. The building is the Dunđerski Palace on Kralja Aleksandra Street.
