# Fifty-gulden note of the Vienna City Bank, 1762

The fifty-gulden value of the 1762 issue, printed in red, with “Fünfzig Gulden” and the heading “50 fl. Rh.”, fifty gulden of the Rhenish standard, in olive at the top. The same text as on every value of that first issue promises acceptance for half of any tax payment in the Hungarian, Bohemian and Austrian lands, and the date, Vienna, 1 July 1762, closes it. The arms of Vienna sit at the centre between the printed signatures of the city's officers, and the letters “W. St. Banco-Zettel” run in outline across the foot.
