# Petrovaradin Fortress, with a Long Handwritten Letter, 1942

Petrovaradin Fortress across the Danube, printed 'Petervarad vara' (Petrovaradin Castle), with the sender's location added by hand, 'Ujvidek'. A handwritten Hungarian letter fills the sky, remarking that the far bank is already Croatia and that small steamships ply the river.
