# The square and the Name of Mary Church under storm clouds

The main square seen from beside the Town Hall, whose rusticated corner fills the left edge, toward the neo-Gothic Name of Mary Church under a dark, clouded sky. A row of nineteenth-century houses, one crowned by a dome, runs across the square, a rounded saloon car is parked at the kerb with a man beside it, and tram rails curve across the empty roadway. The Holy Trinity column rises beside the church, where it stood until the late 1940s.
