# Liberation Square and the Town Hall, 9 October 1935

A tram and pedestrians in autumn coats cross the square in the foreground, below the same Town Hall clock tower and Holy Trinity column seen together elsewhere under their Hungarian-era names Fötér and Ferencz József tér. A real postage stamp and a 10 October 1935 postmark are affixed at top right. The heading, Нови Сад, Трг Ослобођења са Градском Кућом, Novi Sad, Liberation Square with the Town Hall, marks the square's progression from Hungarian to interwar Yugoslav naming, ahead of its later name Trg slobode.
